This workshop is for those new to yoga and interested in starting a regular practice or for those who have been away from their yoga practice and want to start again. You will learn the basics of yoga to cultivate a fun\, safe and rewarding practice. You will leave the workshop with skills and confidence to feel comfortable taking classes in any setting. We will teach you the foundations of yoga including the mental and physical benefits of meditation\, breathing techniques\, and specific poses/postures. We will adapt and modify poses based on your individual strength and flexibility. You do not need to be young\, athletic and/or flexible enough to twist your body into pretzel shapes to practice and fall in love with yoga. You just need to be willing to show up with an open mind and try.
