DESCRIPTION:Reiki Level 1 – Training and Attunement: \nReiki is an energetic practice with a long history. Recently the practice has become more mainstream\, finding its way into hospitals\, rehab centers and hospice environments as an offering of support for traditional medicine and therapeutic treatment. For some\, it has been shown to reduce the effects of chronic pain or emotional distress. For others\, it is a self practice that can aid sleep issues and support meditation. But what IS Reiki and how does it work? Participants will explore the practice\, learn the principles and history of Reiki and receive a Reiki Level 1 attunement in a supportive group setting. \nDates: January 12th\, January 26th and February 16th – 1:00-3:00 Personal investment: 6 hours / $179 \nBring a notebook\, comfortable clothing and a folding chair (if needed).
